Session 3

The party started in the sinkhole with the lumberjacks and after some deliberation decided to address the Screamer incursion near the hospital & village.

They discovered the Screamer factory and were overwhelmed by the size of the force there. While retreating back to the lumberjack camp, they were convinced by a local nymph to help her with her plan: luring Last Bear the beast that lived in the forest.

The plan worked! The Screamer factory was destroyed, leaving Velders safe for now.

However, Last Bear was furious at the nymph and the party and warned them to leave his forest.

There the party managed to make their way into a hospital vault before leaving. They find a battery-powered surgical multi-tool and cleverly used it to modify a few of the Crowns of Obscurity so that the person wearing them could see the real world instead of the projected illusion. This drained the batteries they'd been left with.

Taking six of the modified helmets for themselves and allowing the lumberjacks to six of theirs as well, the party then set out back towards Velders.
